MDL has performed microarray analysis since 1998.
We have established a leading position in the field through numerous international collaborations with European universities, Research Institutes and major multinational pharmaceutical, food and chemical companies.

Our microarray core center was established in 2003 as a unit associated with The Clinical Institute at Aarhus University.

Services
We provide a wide range of gene expression analyses (RNA) and genomic analysis tools (DNA) based on the Affymetrix GeneChip® technology.
Highly reproducible and sensitive analysis of gene expression can be performed on gene, exon or whole genome levels.

Genetic analyses include among others:

• Whole genome analysis SNP and CNV (Genome-wide SNP array 6.0)
• High-resolution identification of copy number variations (Cytogenetics Whole-Genome 2.7M array)
• miRNA analysis (GeneChip® miRNA array)
• Analysis of transcriptome (alternative splicing/exons) (Whole-Transcript Expression analysis)
• 3' IVT Expression Analysis (f.ex. GeneChip® Human Genome U133 Plus 2.0 Array)
• Mapping of protein/DNA interactions and novel RNA transcripts (GeneChip® Tiling Arrays)

Many microarray analyses are available for several species such as humans, mouse, rat, Arabidopsis thaliana, S.cerevisiae, Drosophila and E.coli. For a complete list see www.affymetrix.com

Procedure
Before your samples can be processed we need to sign a customer contract.
After completion of the array analysis, the original Affymetrix result files and the normalized data in MS Excel format (on request) are available for you to download.
